Intense blueberry, blackberry, licorice and spice dominate the forward aromas and full-bodied flavors of this superb California Port. True to its inspiration, it combines fruit, sweetness, structure and “grip” (a bit heat from the brandy) in a style that encourages both winter savoring and chilled summer sipping. Already delicious, Benson Ferry Port should develop beautifully in the cellar, if the lucky buyer can resist the temptation to open it!

Vibrant aromas of green apple and citrus are enriched by a hint of bread dough. Fresh green apple, lime and kiwi flavors gain elegance from subtle mineral notes. This Chardonnay’s vibrant fruit, medium weight and smooth texture continue through the crisp, lingering finish. 

The 2004 Benson Ferry Pinot Gris features fresh pineapple, honeysuckle, orange peel and melon aromas and flavors. Deliciously light on the palate, this dry white wine has a crisp yet gentle finish that invites second (and third) glasses. Like all Benson Ferry whites, the Pinot Gris emphasizes fresh fruit and balance. Delightful all by itself, it also pairs well with a wide variety of casual fare. 

Ripe, opulent blackberry fruit and generous spice nuances give the nose of this Zinfandel broad appeal. Very ripe, forward blackberry and raspberry flavors are accented by hints of cedar and juniper. Uncommon smoothness in the mouth puts the focus on the delicious fruit, and leads to a supple, lingering finish. The 2005 Benson Ferry Zinfandel is ready to enjoy now.
